Week 13

In my slideshow I plan to develop my ethos by showing that I also fit into the group of children that watch adult oriented content. I will establish pathos by using the photos that I chose to match the words perfectly, and I will establish logos by using my sources.

Week 12

Currently both my entertainment group and my advertising group is working together quite well. In the entertainment group we currently have our topics chose and we have peer reviewed our proposals. We have also turned in our project grid. In the advertising group we have been brainstorming what two outlets to get the word out. We have come to the agreement that Facebook and either passing out flyers or hanging up posters. As for comments or questions the only one that I have is aren't the podcast and the slideshow very close to being the same exact thing? Besides that there really isn't anything that I am having trouble with.

Primary Research Protocol

The primary research that I have decided would go the best with my subject would have to be a survey. In the survey I intend to ask people that are 18 and up both male and female if they have ever watched a film that was intended for mature audiences while they were children around the ages of 12 and below. The place that this survey will mostly be held is in cyber space although I will also be asking around campus, to other people in my classes, to my friends, and to some of my family members. The reason I am doing this is because the other two options don’t make much sense. The subject that I chose is too broad to set up a interview with any number of people and it’s too large and time consuming in order to set up a observation. Doing a survey best get my question out to get enough answers to put together a good chart on the subject. I will conduct this survey in a simple manner of a yes or no question. It will either be “Yes I did watch mature rated films while I was a child” or “No I did not watch mature rated films when I was a child” simple yet straight to the point. With this research I want to see how many people actually watched programming that was actually meant for their age brackets seeing that children watching movies of mature content is currently on an upward trend. 

Week 9

The challenges that I faced was hitting the time limit and keeping my pitch consistent. It was also pretty hard to find the sources for this one but other than that there wasn't that many problems. I built egos, pathos, and logos by sound professional and having good sources to back up my facts.

Week 7

I couldn't find any sources in Google scholar. In advanced search I typed in film producer qualification, top rated movies of all time and worst movies of all time. I also used the keyword of film production and movie production with not much success. What I have so far is.

Week 5

The revisions that I plan on adding to my piece would be a trailer of an original shown next to a remake. Add a bit more to my reasoning behind why people are against it. I also plan to caption the content that I will include with my piece in order to make it look better. I would also like to get more into my introduction before I turn it in also.
